the ballad the rime of the Ancient Mariner is made up of sever parts and is set in a boundless sea with days of pitiless sun and nights lit by the moon. it is introduced by an Argument containing a short summary of the whole poem and consists of two narratives on is made up of the captions to the right of the stanz which constitute the framework and introduce the protagonist and his listener the other is the poem itself.

THIS POEM CONTAINS MANY OF THE FEATURES TRADITIONALLY ASSOCIATED WITH BALLADS THAT IS THE COMBINATION OF DIALOGUE AND NARRATION THE FOUR -LINE STANZA , THE ARCHAIC LANGUAGE RICH IN ALLITETIONS REPETITIONS AND ONOMATOPEIAS THE THEME OF TRAVEL AND WANDERING AND SUPERNATURAL ELEMENTS. BUT THE PRESENCE OF A MORA AT THE END MAKES THE RIME OF THE ANCIENT MARINER A ROMANTIC BALLAD .

Il dipinto è ambientato nella campagna inglese, in primo piano, due figure guadano il fiume conducendo un carro da fieno vuoto trainato da cavalli. Si nota la resa del clima e dell'atmosfera (soprattutto salta agli occhi il grande cielo con le sue nuvole);nonostante la natura sia prevalente non manca la figura dell'uomo anche se posta in secondo piano.Il colore prevalente e il verde , e a sinistra una donna . quest'ultimo brano in inglese lo voglio ... gli altri la traduzione grazie ..
